Platform Terms & Conditions
Searino is committed to a safe, transparent, and fair environment for cargo owners, ship owners, seafarers, and vendors.
📖Introduction and definitions
In plain language: by signing up for Searino, you accept these terms. Searino is a smart intermediary — not a cargo owner, ship owner, or repair yard.
This agreement is between Searino platform ("Platform", "we") and the User (ship owner, cargo owner, seafarer, shipping company, or vendor).
Using any platform service means you have read, understood, and accepted all terms. If you disagree, please do not use the services.

- After accepting an offer, a formal Charter Party outside the platform is required.

The jobs section connects seafarers with crewing agencies and shipping companies.

The repairs section supports dry docking, voyage repairs, and urgent requests.
- Vendors must activate a corporate account with registration documents before bidding.
- Misuse of urgent (SOS) alerts without genuine emergencies may incur penalties.

Your confidentiality is our priority. Searino uses encryption to protect commercial and personal data.
- Personal data: Seafarer documents are visible only to employers who received applications.
- Commercial data: Cargo, charter, and repair bid details remain confidential.
- Cookies: Secure cookies improve UX and maintain active sessions.

The platform is not liable to enter disputes between users; system logs may be provided to competent authorities upon request.
